The journey
Nancy started on her own in 2018. The studio grew around her.
Nancy C is a graphic designer based in India. She began taking brand work in January 2018, and has been building identities ever since: logos and style guides first, then stationery, interfaces, animation and websites.

The studio runs as a team now. Nancy sets the creative direction for a project and stays with it to handover, with senior designers and a project manager working on the same brief.

I asked for a logo for a motorcycle app and couldn't really explain what I wanted. Nancy figured it out anyway: five directions on the first round, and one of them was the thing I had in my head but no words for :)
After that it was easy. She listens instead of defending her work, and every round came back better than the last. At the end I sent her a long list of nitpicks and... she went through all of it without a sigh.
